Rather than diminishing the warmth, visual appeal, or comfort of a space, our approach transforms metal into a refined, versatile foundation that enhances modern living through clean lines, multifunctional capabilities, and adaptive design that evolves with changing needs.
Material choice
Metal embodies a unique duality as both profoundly natural and utterly artificial—extracted from the earth yet transformed entirely through human ingenuity to serve our evolving needs across millennia.
Especially Steel's exceptional sustainability credentials as a completely recyclable material have significantly influenced our design philosophy.
Our approach prioritizes modularity and versatility across all designs, ensuring pieces can adapt to multiple functions and contexts.
For smaller-scale items in particular, we've developed strategies that maximize the value of residual sheet metal fragments from larger manufacturing processes, transforming what might otherwise be waste into purposeful design elements.
This philosophy reflects our commitment to both material honesty and resource efficiency—honoring steel's inherent properties while minimizing waste through thoughtful design that considers the entire lifecycle of both the material and the finished piece.
Coating choice
Following extensive experimentation with various coating methods, and with our commitment to preserving steel's inherent character—including its natural variations and unrefined beauty—we've determined that applying a beeswax paste or similar oil-based treatment biannually represents one of the most effective non-toxic approaches for long-term preservation. This gentle maintenance routine allows the material's authentic qualities to remain visible while ensuring your pieces maintain their integrity for decades.

Mechanical Engineer / Design Lead
My work exists at the intersection of precision engineering and intuitive design—a synthesis born from dual perspectives as a mechanical engineer and designer.
Drawing from Scandinavian functionalism and the enduring principles of Bauhaus, I believe engineering and design are not separate disciplines but continuous dialogues that must inform one another to create objects of purpose and integrity.
A mechanical engineer turned designer, with a passion for design in any shape or form.
My vision is pretty simple.
Functional ordinary items with a distinct design language and a unique to the user, story to tell.
Meticulously designed pieces that embrace smaller imperfections.
Rigid, cold materials ‘bending’ to our everyday needs.
After all juxtapositions seem to work.
I am eager to explore them even further and maybe bring like-minded individuals along the way.
