What happens to some 'scrap' metal, initially cut to be used as a tail light lining detail? Transcending its use, but not its purpose is probably the answer. A lantern inspired table lamp with 4 steel laser cut pieces and 6 setscrews that allow for many different compositions.  A low profile spotlight, magnetically attached to the top or bottom steel piece, creates a very interesting illusion around the main source of lighting within the metal object. The height and position at which you screw the pieces, also determines the light diffusion making every configuration a unique spatial experience.
